macOS Compatibility

Compatibility layer Rating Notes
CrossOver Perfect Playable on Crossover 21. Steam installed in a Windows 7 64 bit bottle with .NET Framework 4.5.2 and the option "DXVK support for D3D11" selected in the bottle right-click menu > "Options". AC launcher crashes sometimes (disabling "GPU-accelerated game launcher" in the Options on the launcher prevents this issue). acs.exe (the simulator itself) runs perfectly smooth, 60-70fps @1080p. XBOX One Wireless controller works fine, but rumble doesn´t work. [1]
Wine Unknown
Virtualization
Parallels Perfect Playable on Parallels 18. Testing using a Windows 11 installation, and launching via both Steam, and "Assetto Corsa Content Manager" works as expected with no issues. Using M1 Max (24-core) MacBook Pro, when in clamshell mode and using an external 1440p monitor, FPS average was around 100-120fps with stock graphics settings. Works fine with a controller as well, however if you're using a Playstation DualShock 3 controller, using a tool like 'x360ce' will help you a lot to make sure the button mapping is correct. [2] [3]
