Metal Performance HUD is a tool to display FPS and other stats in Mac games running on Metal.

Enabling / disabling

The HUD is integrated in macOS[1].

Enabling Metal HUD[1]
  1. Launch Termianl.app
  2. Type: /bin/launchctl setenv MTL_HUD_ENABLED 1
  3. Enter
  4. Relaunch Crossover, Steam, game to apply
Disabling Metal HUD[1]
