Updating from 32bit to 64bit

Game downloaded from Steam, version 2.7 (2023/07/13)


- Extract necessary files for Unity:

1. Download the macOS version of Unity 5.6.4p1 from the official site. (Here!)

2. Install the .pkg or unzipped whit The Unarchiver.

3. Open the extracted folder, and navigate to > Unity.pkg.tmp, rename the Payload file to "Payload.zip" and then unzip it.

5. Open the extracted folder (named Unity), right-click Unity.app, and "Show Package Contents".

6. Navigate Contents > PlaybackEngines > MacStandaloneSupport > Variations > macosx64_nondevelopment_mono, right-click UnityPlayer.app and "Show Package Contents".

7. Navigate Contents > MacOS, copy UnityPlayer executable to someplace on your computer, and do the same whit Contents > Frameworks > MonoEmbedRuntime > osx libmono.0.dylib and libMonoPosixHelper.dylib


- Replace game files:

1. Open Steam, navigate to the library, right-click The Fall > Manage > Browse local files

2. Right-click TheFall.app and "Show Package Contents" > Contents

3. Place the UnityPlayer executable from earlier into the MacOS folder, renaming it TheFall to replace the original game executable.

4. The .dylib files into Frameworks > MonoEmbedRuntime > osx, replacing the originals.

5. You can play by opening it in Steam!
