macOS Compatibility
Compatibility layer | Rating | Notes |
---|---|---|
CrossOver | Playable but have totally black pitch issue in caves.[1] | |
Wine | Play on default Whisky settings for the smoothest gameplay (I encounter stutters and lag spikes on d3dC87 after 15 minutes of gameplay). Depend on what you play on, it is wise to lower the in-game settings to match your gaming setup. Boss Fight is steadily set in between 45-60FPS, but traversing through terrains can sometimes lag-spike and drop way down to 15FPS. [2] | |
Virtualization | ||
Parallels | Game runs better than expected, however crashes whenever you open the graphics option in-game. To change graphics settings, go to "C:\Users\YOUR_NAME_HERE\AppData\Roaming\Sekiro" and edit "GraphicsConfig" to your liking.[3] |
